Christina became a welcome addition to our team earlier this decade. She has been providing care as a Physical Therapy Assistant since she obtained her degree from the State College of Florida in 2008.
Throughout her PTA career she has pursued advanced training in the areas of orthopedics, spine, corrective exercise, manual therapy, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, myofascial cupping, vestibular rehab, aquatic therapy and balance training.
Her journey to the field of physical therapy was proceeded by her study at the University of Florida from which she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.
Her high level of success in her undergraduate studies catapulted her to train with world renowned dance companies Alvin Ailey and Martha Graham. This rigorous training in Ballet, Modern/Contemporary and Jazz prepared her to dance internationally as a professional.
She transitioned from her professional dancing career to teaching dance at a high level, contributing to the success of other professional dancers. As the physical demands of professional dance began taking a toll on her body her interest in restorative care and the healing arts was born. This led to her obtaining training at the Sarasota School of Massage.
Her unique background allows her to blend an understanding of human anatomy and kinesiology. While her background teaching the fine art of dance enables her to enhance patient understanding to generate more efficient outcomes. Christina provides care in an artful compassionate manner which quickly gains the trust of her fellow clinicians and the patients she treats. In addition to her duties as a Physical Therapy Assistant, Christina also provides support to Dr Infanti as she has a dual licensure and is a Chiropractic Assistant as well.
